Open For Business: PS Bklyn

(L to R) Owner Steve Sohmer, Brooklyn BP Marty Markowitz, and owner Tom Graziano via PS Bklyn
As of 5:30 Friday evening, PS Bklyn has officially opened their doors for business. The family friendly gastropub, whose soft open was profiled here a couple days ago, has published their menu online, and there's a nice selection of salads, pizzas, and burgers, some small plates, and main dishes like chicken under a brick, grilled hanger steak, and chicken pot pie. Prices look average for the neighborhood, if slightly too expensive (the bacon cheeseburger is $15). I'm very interested in seeing the neighborhood's response to the restaurant, whose overt kid-friendliness (a game room, DVD players in the booths) has sparked some division.

PSbklyn, 833 Union Street Brooklyn NY 11217. 718-398-5474.
