I'd been eagerly following the developments that have been taking place over the past couple months in the space that was last home to Slope Sports, on Seventh Avenue between Berkeley and Lincoln, since the "For Rent" sign was replaced with the brown paper that usually signifies construction.

When I last checked in, I had the opportunity to chat briefly with the gentleman who is overseeing construction, and he informed me that the space's next tenant will be a jewelry store. He couldn't provide the name or any more details, but said that it's the owner's first venture.
