Open for Business: Kiku Asian Bistro and Sake Bar, 2 Lincoln Place

Earlier this afternoon, right on schedule, Kiku completed their move into the much-larger storefront a couple doors up Fifth Avenue, into the space that was last occupied by Moroccan restaurant Babouche.

The newly-renovated space is bright and spacious, and the seating is well-arranged and provides plenty of room for each table. The right-hand room is now home to a full-scale sushi and sake bar, with wine and beer also on offer (no liquor, unfortunately).

The menu is still the same, but the manager told me that within a couple weeks a new menu will be rolled out, incorporating several new dishes.
