Be Safe, Park Slope!

While Hurricane Sandy hasn't yet made landfall (that honor will be bestowed later tonight), the Category 1 hurricane's power is already being felt throughout the region, with heavy rain, gusting winds, and flooding. And while Park Slope is out of harm's way (at least from a flooding perspective), our neighbors in Gowanus and further afield in Red Hook, Lower Manhattan, the Rockaways, and other low-lying areas could have a major problem on their hands.

So stay indoors, check in on neighbors, make the most of the day(s) off work, and most of all, be safe!
