Closed for Business: MetLife Home Loans, 200 Seventh Avenue

Well, that was a bust. Less than six months after opening a branch on Seventh Avenue between Second and Third Streets, MetLife Home Loans has shuttered that location.
Prior to this office, the space was home to the "pop-up gallery" of artist Mark Ravitz, who's installed his famous "drips" on the building, which he also owns. He spent several years looking for a non-restaurant tenant, and supposedly turned down plenty of nail salons before settling on MetLife. Prior to that, the space was home to Park Slope Books.
Hopefully this opens the door for something moderately more exciting to move in.

Already? Yikes. A tough stretch for that corner/block.
Wow, that was surprisingly quick! I remember way back when that spot was an art supply store. Can't even think of anything good to go in that spot
There goes that strategy.
I KNEW I should have gone in there and asked for one of those stuffed Snoopys earlier.
I like the drips (the wall drips, not the coke drips, ha)
