Closed for Business: Sprint Wireless World, 111 Seventh Avenue

The Sprint store near the northeast corner of Seventh and President closed recently, and the miniscule space is currently in the process of being gutted.

This closure wouldn't be particulary noteworthy, except for the fact that this store also happens to have received just about the very worst Yelp reviews I've ever seen.

The last time a cell phone store closed on Seventh, a ridiculously good cheese shop moved in. Maybe lighting will strike twice!

There's just enough room for signage reading "Diddles Mission Burritos" if the letters are 14 pt. helvetica bold.

It looks like a hair salon is coming in as I was peeking into to the workspace .

yeah, they were awful! I stopped going to that store ages ago, if I need service for my Sprint phone or want a new Sprint phone, I go to Infiniti on 5th Avenue near 7th Street, they are an authorized Sprint center.

Hope something good opens here, tiny spot though

I asked one of the guys working there a few days ago, and he said it was going to be a barbershop.
