Noella/ Painted Pot Storefront Gets a Cornice

It's been a long time since the renovations of the storefronts at 70-72 Seventh Avenue, previously occupied by La Taqueria but since taken over by Noella Brew Bar and The Painted Pot, began, but construction finally seems to be wrapping up, long after its newest tenants have moved in.
The initial intention behind re-doing the storefronts, between Berkeley and Lincoln, was to restore the entryways to their original condition, and while I've been unable to track down a photo of how the building looked 100 years ago I don't think they're too far off. That cornice is pretty stellar! Looks like all that's left to do here is install some permanent signage.

It already looks totally different from that photo above. On Monday, they finished the cornice and painted it black.
