Pinkberry Gets Temp Signage on Seventh

The Stop-Work Order has been lifted, temporary signage has been installed, and the Pinkberry that's been planned for Seventh Avenue and Garfield Place (in the corner storefront last occupied by 161 Wine Bar), is officially under construction.

This will be the the massive fro-yo franchise's first Brooklyn outpost, and it will be opening sometime this summer; they're currently hiring.

Why have you neglected Caramello? You write up all these disgusting powder frozen yogurt places (Pinkberry is the worst!) but the best gelato in the city you ignore? It's been open for 2 weeks now and is literally on par with gelato you'd find in Italy.

@deanstreet Don't worry!

Best gelato in the city? It's very good, but that's crazy talk. You've got Cones sitting there on Bleecker for the last 20 years, L'arte, L'aboratorio, etc.

Maybe the owners of Caramello really hate drivers and antibiotics.

The real question here, of course, is whether the owner of Pinkberry will allow miltant froyo-eating lesbians. Perhaps they can chime in.
