Pork Slope Set to Open August 18

Pork Slope, the newest endeavor from Team Talde, will be opening on August 18th, according to Eater. 

The roadhouse-style bar and restaurant, from Dale Talde, David Massoni, and John Bush, has been under construction in the space that was occupied for 20 years by Aunt Suzie's, on Fifth between Garfield and Carroll. 

So what can we expect when it opens? Looks like it'll be modeled in part after the bar in the Patrick Swayze classic Road House (hence opening up on his birthday), as well as Max Fish and Hogs & Heifers, and they'll serve up straight-ahead Southern drinkin' food like ham and biscuits, fried chicken and rib sandwiches to wash down the pitchers of beer.
