Signage Up at Pork Slope
Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 8:25AM For those who were holding on to the belief that the name of the newest venture from team Talde, Pork Slope, was just an April Fool's joke, this should remove all doubt. The road house-style bar, taking over the space last occupied by Aunt Suzie's, on Fifth between Garfield and Carroll, got some no-nonsense signage on Tuesday, and it appears to be on track to open as scheduled on August 18th.
Owners Dale Talde, David Massoni, and John Bush have kept the layout largely under wraps, but a few details are visible from the outside if you try hard enough: a neon Budweiser sign up front, a PBR logo dominating the back wall, a long bar, and plenty of tables and chairs. I hear a pool table is also in there.
Sure sounds like a road house to me.

Sounds like theyre trying too hard to me
Can't wait for this one!
any word on Terrier's opening?
Kimberly,
I did notice yesterday that they've carved some windows into the side of the building where Terrior is coming. Looks like construction is in full swing!
Trying too hard before they open? Seems like a lame thing to be critical about. But that is just me.
Thanks Sterling!
