Nolita Boutique Poppy Coming to Bob and Judi's Space on Fifth

It's only been a week since quirky vintage knick-knack shop Bob and Judi's Coolectibles closed after 15 years on Fifth Avenue between Union and President Streets, and a new tenant has already been lined up for the space.
According to the realtor, the storefront will next be home to the second outpost of popular Nolita-based boutique Poppy, which has been selling women's apparel on Mott Street between Prince and Houston since November 2003.
According to their website, Poppy sells "a well-edited mix of indy and established contemporary collections." The merchandise, which includes dresses, sweaters, tops, bottoms, jackets, swimwear, and accessories, is updated weekly (sometimes daily), and their online store also appears to be quite popular.
They'll certainly have some stiff competition on this boutique-heavy stretch of Fifth, but if they've been able to thrive for nearly ten years in their current neighborhood they should have no problem finding a niche in ours.
