Closed for Business: Yummy Taco, 245 Flatbush Avenue
Monday, December 2, 2024 at 7:43AM
Yummy Taco, which has held down the ground floor of the building surrounded by Flatbush Avenue, Sixth Avenue, and Dean Street, for years, has closed, and a sign in the window states that the business is in the process of moving to 774 Washington Avenue, between Park and Sterling Places.
The nothing-special Tex-Mex joint was certainly nothing fancy, but one of th eincreasingly few inexpensive dining options in the area. Considering that this space is the ground floor of an entire building, it'll be very interesting to see what comes into the space.

Now THIS could be the perfect Beef O'Brady's location. I'm putting in a call.
Too bad, this place served reliably delicious fare.
Wait, no, actually I never ate there because it was filthy and disgusting.
I heard they were put out of business by a lawsuit from the makers of a porno by the same name.
I don't know, Jbob. The Pink Taco chain seems to do pretty well!
First Yummy Bagel and now this. There's nothing yummy on Flatbush anymore. I blame Bruce Ratner.
Good riddance. This was always one of those places that I scratch my head and wonder why the hell it was there. Time to bring in a neo-Brooklyn expensive Froyo/Gelato place like Caramello.
Good riddance, when i think of that place i'm reminded of disgusting food and drinks served in plastic disposable cups. As long as they don't open another buger joint, bbq or yogurt place i'm happy.
