"Shang Hai Spa" Coming to Rita Knox Realty Space on Fifth

It's only been about a month since Rita Knox Realty closed down after 27 years on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Carroll Street, but the space has already been rented, and construction has begun on the next tenant, Shang Hai Spa.
The metal gate was half-up yesterday, revealing the name via frosted glass. No more information is forthcoming for now, but judging by the name, there are only a couple possibilities as to what we can expect.

Another place where strange people rub your back and feet.
Hit the adult novelty store, then off to this "spa."

Theres already 2 or 3 of these places on 7th-theyre a great deal for a no frills massage- 50 bucks or so for an hour and theyre an easy business to set up - some tables and curtains with a few women literally right off the boat and there you go. But how many of these places do you need?
stupid name, the word is shanghai not shang hai.

With so much competition in the area, Shang Hai must feel cocky!
Just to make sure there isn't any funny business going on here, I'll be working undercover during Shang Hai's "Wake the Snake" Chinese New Year promotional event.
