Eleven Consignment Boutique to Open New Location Across the Street

Eleven Consignment Boutique opened their first Brooklyn location on the corner of Fifth and St. Marks last year, and it appears to be doing so well that the owners have decided to open a second outpost in the larger space on the opposite corner, in the space with the "Conservation Plumbing and Heating" sign last occupied by jewelry store Nora Kogan.

Like the location on First Avenue and 11th Street in Manhattan, the existing location specializes in high-end items, like Louboutins and Louis Vuitton purses, but this one will focus on less expensive items, according to Park Slope Stoop.

Vintage shops like Guvnor's and Odd Twin might have had their moment, but consignment shops are still going strong on this stretch of the avenue.

The owners of this vintage mini chain are some of the nastiest, rudest people you will ever meet. Both of their stores get almost UNANIMOUS 1 star ratings (out of 5) on the internet.

I actually think they are a front for something. No one ever seems to go into the shop on 5th avenue and now they are opening another one across the street in a space that costs 10K a month?

Do you know how many overpriced "vintage" coach bags you have to sell to pay the rent, the staff and make a profit.

I just don't get it, these people are the worst of the worst. STAY AWAY.

Go visit the wonderful people at Housing Works. You'll find the same items for half the price and your dollars are going to a good cause.

They are con artists. They operate a "store" for a church in Manhattan and take the donations and sell them at their Park Slope store/s. I have witnessed the nasty owner screaming at her employee in FRONT OF customers! Place is overpriced (by A LOT) and the owners seem like vile creatures.

I think housing works clearly wrote the first responce , the rent at this store was marked at 5k on craiglist haha so thats so wrong . also the space they are currently in was going on criglist for 4500 last year ..... pretty sure the owners are a husband wife and the guy used to own 10 theft stores before that did have something to do with a church , but the the 3 they currently own are deff for profit they never said anything about a church they don't even take donations at any of these locations ... you should know what your talking about before you open your mouth i have done events with these people they make bank and when you see $$$ its easy to only do a few sales a day unlike beacons who needs 500 sales a day to make 100 $ hahah
good luck to any one who brings great stuff to park slope its a fab place ! i hate see in empty store fronts so I'm happy about this

What's a theft store?

"the owners are a husband wife and the guy used to own 10 theft stores before that did have something to do with a church"

Pretty sure the owner of Eleven Consignment just admitted to having stores where they stole (?) merchandise. That's my only guess about what a theft store is.

Why do you care about what they do after hrs? They pay the rent don't they . As a landlord I don't care what my tents do as long as they pay .
