Caviar Adds Talde, Franny's, 20 More Brooklyn Restaurants to Delivery Roster

If you thought making a call or ordering Seamless were the only ways to get delivery from local restaurants, there's a new player on the scene that's very cool, called Caviar. The San Francisco-based startup, which launched in Brooklyn three months ago, has just nearly doubled the amount of Brooklyn restaurants that will deliver food to you, and many of those 40 restaurants have never offered delivery before.

Restaurants and shops including Talde (above), Franny's, BKLYN Larder, Asia Dog, Littleneck Outpost, and Ramen Burger will now deliver (or, more specifically, a Caviar courier will deliver your food for a $4.99 fee), and lots of the restaurants on board will deliver far outside of the usual delivery radius. You can also place your order up to six days in advance.

There are also plenty of promotional specials: From Feb 25 - March 4 you can get three pizzas from Franny's for $30; until Feb. 28 all Talde orders are $10 off; and on March 1 a $110 full duck dinner from 2 Duck Goose is going for $55.

Other restaurans you can order from include Bar Corvo, Briskettown, Blue Ribbon, Frankies Spuntino 457, Mile End, No. 7, Motorino, Prime Meats, and The Meatball Shop. You can find the full list (as well as photos of all the available offerings) here, and can place orders through the website or app.

Has anyone every tried Caviar? Takeout, IMHO, is never as good as eating in a restaurant, but how does Caviar do with higher-end places?

Yeah, but how many people's ducks are ordering dinner to be delivered?

Big Caviar fan here. Delivery time estimates are on point, and food has always arrived piping hot. Great supplement to the ordinary asian and Italian options that dominate Seamless.
